There is probably no ideal project space, and that is exactly what is ideal about this format; the openness and the freedom that allows it to take any shape and direction. Project spaces are versatile structures that can be morphed in many different ways, reflecting the circumstances and the people that are part of the process. To us, a project space is a kind of utopia, although there is no fixed concept of an ideal project space. Project spaces are very much constantly evolving, changing, and adapting.Delegate. Delegate. Delegate. It is absolutely necessary to delegate bureaucratic paperwork to those who are professionally trained in these tasks. Running a project space with all its paperwork baggage is taking a toll on creative output: it slows us down. Kunst ist ein gesellschaftlicher Reflexions- und Erfahrungsraum. Und natürlich entwickelt sich das Kunstverständnis aus dieser Reflexion immer weiter, das gehört ja schon zum Kunstbegriff, würde ich sagen. Mein künstlerisches Interesse ist erfahrungs- und entwicklungsorientiert, emanzipatorisch und aktivierend. Ich möchte in einer Kultur leben, wo die Rollenverteilungen von Arm und Reich, zwischen produzieren und konsumieren nicht mehr so abgegrenzt voneinander sind. Künstlerisches Schaffen ist für mich eine Möglichkeit, dazu beizutragen. Es bietet einen Handlungsraum, gesellschaftliche Änderungen spielerisch vorzudenken und auszuprobieren.
