Ohne die Kultur könnten der Tourismus, die Gastronomie, das Hotelwesen und viele andere Branchen in dieser Stadt dichtmachen, was während der Pandemie teilweise ans Licht gekommen ist. Mit der „City Tax“ ist ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung getan worden, jedoch ist der Umfang bei Weitem nicht ausreichend.We are very happy with the network. Whenever we had questions or doubts, the Network had an answer or guided us. Being a project space, we can see how lucky we are to have the support of this organization that has allowed us to be where we are now. We are very grateful to your organization and wish you all the best for the future.The Project Space Prize has not only saved many spaces and kept them alive for a longer period but basically generated a unique experimental and diverse art scene in Berlin. The Prize has also very much encouraged the founding of new spaces, fueled by the hope of receiving funding at some point. More than anything, it is an example of how much a certain public funding strategy can completely shape a local art scene.
