Die Diversität des Begriffs „Projektraum“ öffnet durchaus Horizonte, führt aber auch im Gegenzug zu fachlichen Überdehnungen des Kunstbegriffs. Der vorherrschende Fördermarkt-Sozialdarwinismus stellt Tiefgänge infrage. Komplexe kulturelle Transformationsprozesse lassen sich mit den oft daraus entspringenden tagespolitischen Diskursen nicht ausreichend begleiten. Im Grunde genommen entsteht so ein Oberflächen-Projektraum-Diskurs-Impressionismus.Art should first and foremost raise questions that are important for present and future societies. In the last decade, art has moved closer to science, technology, and society. It has become less commercialized and more diverse. We would like art to become not only illustrative and speculative, but also functional, embedding even more science and technologies within itself. This would encourage the audience to be even closer to art, perhaps more critical, diverse, tolerant, and creative.Delegate. Delegate. Delegate. It is absolutely necessary to delegate bureaucratic paperwork to those who are professionally trained in these tasks. Running a project space with all its paperwork baggage is taking a toll on creative output: it slows us down. However, we cannot get away from this bureaucratic burden since we lack the financial resources for professional assistance in these matters.
