NEW FEARS ist eine Galerie für Performance und Transdisziplinarität in Berlin-Wedding, die in Berlin ansässige und internationale Künstler:innen vertritt.
Für jede Episode lädt NEW FEARS zwei Künstler:innen zu einer Residency in Berlin
ein, die in einer öffentlichen Veranstaltung endet. Der Prozess wird von Autor:innen begleitet, die ein Manifest publizieren, das auf der bevorstehenden Veranstaltung vorgestellt wird. Bisher existieren #9 Episoden.

The engagement and support from the Network has been vitally important to our growth and sustainability, and also our learning and understanding of the wider Berlin art scene beyond our micro-communities. For one thing, we have learned so much about the plurality of spaces and creative discourses in Berlin. But the open discussion that the Network allows with the Berlin Senate and one another has been really important in order to understand our needs as unique nodes in the artistic landscape of Berlin, and creative mutual goals for the sustainability and vitality of the community as a whole.The Network is a fundamental organization in the artistic landscape of Berlin. Without the Network, many of the support structures that have been built in recent years simply would not exist. Unionizing has always been problematic in a sector like the art sphere where the construction of the worker has been historically based on the idea of the author, and therefore the ego. In order to achieve change, cooperative models like the Network are a must. The challenge is how to create belonging from difference.Delegate. Delegate. Delegate. It is absolutely necessary to delegate bureaucratic paperwork to those who are professionally trained in these tasks. Running a project space with all its paperwork baggage is taking a toll on creative output: it slows us down. However, we cannot get away from this bureaucratic burden since we lack the financial resources for professional assistance in these matters.
