Every hour one puts into the project will be missed in your own practice. Project spaces are significant to counter the institutions and their market-oriented curated productions. They still have the capacity to foster artistic practices and communities, but also to be resistant to general tendencies and trends. Heute arbeiten wir in einem neoliberalen Turbokapitalismus, der an seine absoluten globalen Grenzen gekommen ist. Ohne künstlerische Arbeit wird es keine nachvollziehbare Übersetzung der jetzt NOTwendigen sozial-ökologischen Transformationsprozesse der westeuropäisch geprägten Industriegesellschaften geben.Das Verständnis davon, was Kunst ist, ist im ständigen Wandel begriffen. Interdisziplinäres, medien- und themenübergreifendes Arbeiten ist zur „Normalität“ geworden. Der digitale Raum wird mehr und mehr als künstlerischer Handlungsraum erschlossen.
